How X polls work (and why timing matters)

A few rules shape every poll order:

• Polls have a timer. An X poll runs from 5 minutes to 7 days; the default is 1 day. Once it ends, nobody can vote — so a vote order needs to finish before the timer does.
• Votes are private. Neither the creator nor anyone else can see who voted or how. Only totals and percentages are public.
• Results appear after voting. People see the current split only after they vote, and the winning option is shown in bold when the poll ends.
• Polls can’t be edited. Double-check your choices before you post — up to four options, 25 characters each.

When buying poll votes makes sense

• Beating the empty-poll problem. A poll with no votes looks abandoned, and people are less likely to be the first to tap. A starting number invites participation.
• Engagement polls for brands and creators. “Which colour next?”, “Thread or video?” — light, fun questions where the goal is interaction, not a scientific result.
• Giveaways and community events. Keep an event poll lively while your audience finds it.

Where not to use poll votes

Use poll votes for engagement, not to fake public opinion. Inflating a poll to claim “70% of people agree” on a political, health or financial question misleads people — and it’s exactly the kind of manipulation platforms and audiences punish. Keep purchased votes to polls where the outcome is playful or about your own brand, and say so if you publish the results as research.

Global or country-targeted?

Pick global votes when you simply want a poll to look active and start moving; they have the lowest minimum and the widest capacity. Pick country-targeted votes when the poll is about a place — a local election night watch party, a regional product launch, a city-specific question — and you want the votes to match that audience. Before you order: a quick checklist

1. Your account is public. Polls on protected accounts are only visible to approved followers.
2. Link the post that contains the poll. Copy it from the share menu — it looks like https://x.com/username/status/1234567890.
3. Add the option to the link. Put ?vote= and the option number at the end: https://x.com/username/status/1234567890?vote=3 sends votes to the third option. Options are numbered 1 to 4 from top to bottom.
4. Check the time left. Votes can’t be added after a poll closes, so make sure the remaining time is enough for the quantity you order.
5. One order per poll at a time. Let an order complete before placing another on the same poll.

What to expect after you order

• Fast start. Most poll vote services begin within minutes and deliver at the speed listed on the service.
• Leave enough time. For a 1-day poll, order early in its life. For a 5-minute poll, choose a small quantity that can realistically finish in time.
