What you can order

The panel has seven Space listener services for X. Like live stream viewers, they’re sold by how long the listeners stay, so you match the option to the length of your Space:

Option What it does Good for
5-minute listeners Listeners in your Space for 5 minutes A quick push during the opening minutes
15-minute listeners Listeners for 15 minutes Short check-ins and announcements
30-minute listeners Listeners for 30 minutes Standard Q&As and weekly shows
45-minute listeners Listeners for 45 minutes Interviews and panel segments
60-minute listeners Listeners for one hour Launch Spaces and full-length shows
90-minute listeners Listeners for 90 minutes Long panels and community town halls
120-minute listeners Listeners for two hours Marathon Spaces and live event coverage

All seven have an instant start, and the listeners appear in the Space itself. The panel describes them as a stable service. Orders start at 50 listeners; the current maximum, speed and any other terms are shown on each service before you buy.

How X Spaces work

Spaces are live audio conversations on X. A few platform rules matter when you order listeners:

  • Every Space is public. According to X’s help center, anyone can listen, including people who don’t follow you. That’s why a public link is all a listener order needs.
  • There’s no listener limit. A Space can hold as many listeners as show up, while the stage is capped at 13 speakers at once — the host, up to two co-hosts and the other speakers.
  • Spaces start on mobile. You start one on iOS or Android; people on the web can join and listen but can’t host.
  • You can schedule ahead. X lets you schedule a Space up to 30 days in advance, with a maximum of 10 scheduled Spaces at a time.
  • Protected accounts can’t host. They can join and speak in other people’s Spaces, but they can’t create one.

After a Space ends, the host can see how many people attended. Our guide on how to host an X Space covers roles, recording, clips and moderation in detail.

When buying Space listeners makes sense

  • The first episode of a show. A new Space series has no track record. Opening to a room with a few names in it makes it harder for visitors to judge whether it’s worth staying.
  • Launches and announcements. When a product, track or project goes live in a Space, a busy room signals that the moment matters.
  • Guests who bring expectations. If you’ve booked a well-known speaker, a near-empty room can feel awkward for them. Listeners keep the numbers respectable while the audience finds the Space.
  • Agency and client Spaces. Resellers use listener services to give client Spaces a consistent baseline and can place orders through the API.

What Space listeners can’t do

Paid listeners raise the number of people in the room. They won’t request the mic, ask questions, react, share the link or come back for the next episode. A Space lives on conversation, and conversation only comes from real people.

Keep two things in mind:

  1. Measure what matters. Speaker requests, replay listens, clip shares and new follows tell you whether the Space worked. The listener count alone doesn’t.
  2. Fix the basics first. A vague Space name, a late start or a host who talks for 20 minutes without bringing anyone up loses people faster than any number can hide. The organic tactics below come first.

Before you order: a quick checklist

  1. Start the Space first. Listeners can only join a Space that’s running, so place the order after you’ve gone live.
  2. Use the Space link. X lets you share a Space by DM, in a post or as a link — copy that link. A profile link or the link to an unrelated post won’t work.
  3. Host from a public account. Protected accounts can’t create Spaces, so check your privacy settings before you schedule.
  4. Pick a duration that covers the rest of your Space. If there’s 40 minutes left on your run of show, choose 45, not 30.
  5. Don’t end and restart. A new Space has a new link. An order placed on the old Space won’t move to the new one.
  6. One order per Space at a time. Let an order finish before you place another on the same Space, so the two don’t overlap.

What to expect after you order

  • Listeners arrive quickly. The services have an instant start, which matters for a format that only exists while it’s live.
  • They stay for the duration you chose. When that window ends, the Space continues with your organic listeners only.
  • They listen, nothing more. Speaker requests and reactions will still come only from your real audience, so plan your run of show around them.
  • Track progress. The Orders page shows the status of each order, and resellers can manage everything through the API.

If you’re running a live video rather than an audio Space, the equivalent service is live stream viewers.

Get more Space listeners organically, too

Listeners that come for the topic are the ones who talk, share and come back. The habits that help most:

  • Schedule the Space instead of starting cold, and share the link three times: an announcement, a reminder an hour before and a “we’re live” post.
  • Give it a name that promises something specific rather than a generic “weekly chat”.
  • Book speakers who bring their own followers, and ask them to share the link.
  • Reset the room every 15 minutes with a quick recap for people who just joined.
  • Record planned Spaces and post clips of the best moments afterward.

Our 14 practical tactics to get more listeners on X Spaces break each of these down before, during and after the Space, with a weekly routine you can follow.

Frequently asked questions

What do Space listeners do?

They join your Space as listeners and appear in it for the duration you choose. They don't speak, request the mic or share your link — they fill the room while your real audience arrives.

Do you need my X password?

No. You only paste the link to your Space. We never ask for your login, and you keep full control of your account.

How long do the listeners stay?

Each service is sold by duration — 5, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Pick the option that covers the rest of your Space from the moment you order.

What is the minimum order?

Space listener services start at 50 listeners per order. Current maximums and speeds are shown on each service in the panel.

Can I order listeners for a scheduled Space?

Listeners can only join a Space that is running, so place the order once your Space has started. The services have an instant start, so you won't lose the opening minutes.

Is it safe to buy Space listeners?

We never touch your account, and all X Spaces are public, so nothing is needed beyond the link. Still, X's platform manipulation policy prohibits artificially inflating engagement, so the risk isn't zero. Use listeners to get a Space past the empty-room stage, not to replace an audience, and decide what level of risk suits your account.
